We’re excited to embark on our next significant initiative: the Financial Freedom Tour in El Salvador. Over several days in January 2025, we’ll journey through Bitcoin Country, introducing individuals to the transformative power of Bitcoin, our platform, and our vision of financial freedom. Our goal is to offer people a chance to protect their wealth, foster financial independence, and understand the opportunities Bitcoin presents.

Financial Freedom Tour El Salvador will be starting on January 15th
Bitfinex Financial Freedom Tour is an education tour aiming to spread financial freedom and the Bitcoin ethos to people in El Salvador. It will be an epic road trip across the Central American nation of El Salvador. We’ll be visiting 5 cities and spreading Bitcoin education and giving Salvadorans the tools they need to achieve financial freedom.

Our next tour across El Salvador:
Celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Bitfinex Freedom Manifesto, our journey includes pivotal stops in San Salvador, Zacatecoluca, El Zonte, San Miguel, and Berlín.We will be hosting Bitcoin meetups in each city, bolstering the tour with diverse local perspectives, as we check out the Proof of Work of adoption on the ground, firsthand.
During our events, we will have different talks about Bitcoin, about Lightning Network development and we will have testimonials from entrepreneurs who built their business on Bitcoin, as well as testimonials from students at Torogoz Dev, an El Salvador-based school for training Lightning Network developers. We will also have space for a Q&A, where we will clarify any doubts about Bitcoin, and a networking space after each meetup
